Sheep Farmer? Southern Southland Worker Needed!
Are you a sheep farm worker looking to relocate and / or take your training to the next step up? Glenfalloch is family owned and run, 1600 acre sheep and beef farm located in Southern Southland. Around 10 minutes from Curio Bay, 15 minutes from Tokanui, 45 minutes from Invercargill and 2 hours from Dunedin. We run approx 4400 ewes and 100 cattle. Position will include a variety of farm tasks, such as stock work, fencing, weed control, tractor driving, farm maintenance and general farm work. You need to be a person who enjoys all aspects of farming. You are required to have at least 2 capable working dogs. You need to be a team player, but you must also be able to work independently when required and also be physically fit and healthy. Accommodation can be provided, and is on the primary school bus route Based in a strong supportive farming community. Start date is negotiable between now and end of June. Remuneration package will be negotiated and it will reflect the successful applicant's experience. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
